A unique terroir
The Uco Valley is one of the most prestigious wine regions in Argentina. Its climate, with warm days and cool nights, favors a balanced ripening of the grapes. The soils, a combination of clay, sand and gravel, provide complexity and structure to the wines. Within the valley, Gualtallary is distinguished by its altitude, which varies between 1,200 and 1,500 meters above sea level. This allows for the production of grapes with vibrant acidity and an exceptional aromatic profile. The interaction between the Gualtallary terroir and winemaking is key to giving rise to wines with great expression and a unique personality.
The sixth sense
The first sense that awakens when we encounter an excellent wine is sight, at the moment when the bottle captures our attention. Then, touch allows us to feel its shape and texture in our hands. Hearing follows, with the crack of the cork and the small explosion of the cork being pulled. Then, the aroma rises and the sense of smell surrenders to its essence, preparing the way for taste, which finally receives it in an instant of plenitude. But there is a sixth sense, the most subtle and profound: the heart, which collects and treasures each of these sensations, transforming them into an indelible memory.
